Enviro Sci: Exploring Alternative Energy Sources

For Thursday, April 23rd.

You and your partner/s (no more than 3!) will be selecting and researching one type of alternative energy sources. If there is something that you would like to research that is not on the list, please talk to Mr. Heli. If he agrees that it's appropriate, you may procede. Please use this link to find useful information. You may use other sources, but they must be from a reputable site (government, educational, and NOT WIKI!).

Biology: Block Days, April 22 or 23

Today you will be watching the BioFlix Video in class with Mr. Heli. After the video, please go the same website: BioFlix Mitosis and click on the Tutorial Link and complete the different tutorials Roles of Mitosis to Summary. You will be doing this worksheet.

After this activity, please start the Mitosis Pipe Cleaner Lab.

Biology: Tuesday, April 21st Activity

Today, you will be doing an online activity in two parts. The first part of the activity is Biocoach Mitosis. Please complete the activity on the back of the instructions.

For the second activity, you and your partner will be looking at “ONLINE ONION ROOT TIPS” at various stages of Interphase and Mitosis. Here is the link from the University of Arizona.
